A Legacy Starts...

In June of 2013, a Victory Walk was put together to raise money for a beloved friend, battling an aggressive form of Non Hodgkins Lymphoma. The walk was in high hopes of a physical victory over cancer from treatments funded from the proceeds. Little did we know our friend would achieve a spiritual victory we could not fathom. Although Michael is not here, he is very much healed, he is victorious, and a fighter like non other. In awe of his strength and courage the victory walk was deemed an annual necessity. This time the money raised will go towards scholarships to award students with classroom passion like Michael, and to families with children battling Hodgkin's Lymphoma, to spread his strength. All proceeds go strictly to scholarships and helping other families. The victory walk is held at the home church of Michael, Springfield Missionary Baptist Church of Laurens, SC. Admission for the walk is $5 and all donations are greatly appreciated. For the event, people from all over the community, buy T-shirts and walk a route around town for all to see our purpose. Its amazing to see a community come together because of one person and work together to help someone else like him.
